Katherine J. Robbins, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology. Dr. Robbins earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, followed by a residency and a hematopathology fellowship at Wake Forest University.
She joins SLUCare from private practice and a volunteer clinical faculty appointment at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Pathology in hematology, anatomic and clinical pathology, Dr. Robbins is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
Dr. Robbins has expertise in the diagnosis of all leukemias and lymphomas, including acute myeloid leukemia and B-cell lymphomas, benign hematology and coagulation and flow cytometry. In addition to clinical and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Robbins has research interests in mature B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
