The Office of International Services will host its second study abroad re-entry session, "Marketing Your Study Abroad Experience," at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8. in the International Student Lounge (room 108) in Des Peres Hall.
For many students, studying abroad is a life-changing experience. Students challenge their academic abilities, explore culture, make new friends all over the world and create memories to last a life time.
Students also gain a unique set of skills and a global perspective that will provide an edge as students continue their studies at Saint Louis University and begin to explore the job market and post-graduate programs.
This session will help students identify the transferable skills they gained abroad and learn techniques for incorporating their experience into a professional resume and future interviews. In addition to gathering expert advice, this session will provide another opportunity for students to spend time with other returned study abroad students.
Attendees are asked to RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org for planning purposes.
