Advances in technology, complex social issues, and the changes in public demands create the need for highly skilled and creative administrators in the public and private sectors. The Center for Sustainability at Saint Louis University is committed to excellence in education and research to address these challenges.
The Urban Planning and Development program is open to both full-time and part-time students and offers both Fall and Spring admission. Several merit-based funding opportunities are available, both through university assistantships and through funded research projects, which vary from year to year. The program enjoys a very high employment rate of graduates; though we do not maintain a formal survey or database, we have seen a 100% placement rate within 1 year of graduation among the students who have maintained contact with the program.
