Marta King, M.D., MED, has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. King earned her medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by a pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and a master's in medical education at the University of Cincinnati. She joins SLUCare from the University of Utah and Primary Children's Hospital Medical Center. Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. King is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academic Pediatric Association.
Dr. King is an attending physician at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center and has clinical expertise in pediatric hospital medicine and care of the medically complex child. In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities, Dr. King has research interests in resident and medical student education on the pediatric wards, pediatric obesity identification and management in the inpatient setting, and feeding methods for neurologically impaired children. Dr. King cares for patients at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, 1465 S. Grand Blvd.
