Saint Louis Univeristy' College for Public Health & Social Justice is proud to host the first annual Public Health Scholar Bowl competition. Forty students and faculty from public health program across the nation have registered for this event on April 19 to 21. This bowl serves as an opportunity for students and faculty to participate in a fun and challenging competition, meet students from other schools, network with graduate study programs, and win cash prizes!
The keynote speaker for this event will be Gary White, CEO and co-founder of water.org. Co-founded by Matt Damon and White, Water.org is a nonprofit organization that has transformed hundreds of communities in Africa, South Asia, and Central America by providing access to safe water and sanitation.
Water.org not only works to provide clean water to communities but also to develop novel methods to do so. They work to bring business management skills and transparency to the nonprofit sector and improve their business capacity.
