Two graduate students in Health Care Ethics placed in the annual GSA Research Symposium held Friday, April 26, 2013. Heidi Pieroni placed first, and Devan Stahl placed third in the Humanities category. The event, and interdisciplinary forum, is open to all SLU graduate students from every department with graduate degree programs.
Each year's paper and poster presentations are divided into categories based on the distribution of the participants. Judges are selected from SLU faculty to represent the variety of disciplines. Monetary awards are given to the first, second, and third place papers and posters in each category. This year was the largest SLU Graduate Research Symposium to date with a total of 131 paper and poster presentations.
