OT Faculty Practice Announces New Connection's Program for Teens
The four-week program is geared to girls between the ages of 14 and 19 who have Asperger's Syndrome or high functioning autism.
In response to many requests, the Occupational Therapy Faculty Practice will offer a four-week program for college and career-bound young women, ages 14-19, through its Connections Program, which aims to help develop social skills in children and teens with Asperger's Syndrome or high functioning autism.
Connection Program participants have difficulty making or maintaining friendships, and have a strong desire to "decode" the world of friendships and relationships.
The group will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays from Aug. 27 through Sept. 17 at Saint Louis University or in a community setting. The cost for the four group-meetings is $220. Additional charges may be required for some sessions.
Those interested in the program should call 314-977-8514 or email email@example.com to schedule an evaluation. Evaluations, which are required every year, will be available by appointment on Tuesdays during the month of July. Space in the group is limited, so participants are encouraged to sign-up early.
