Samantha Simons selected for American Occupational Therapy Association Emerging Leaders Development Program

Samantha Simons, a second year Master of Occupational Therapy student, was selected to participate in the American Occupational Therapy Association Emerging Leaders Development Program. The AOTA ELDP is a prestigious and extremely competitive program that trains emerging student leaders in Occupational Therapy.
The participants receive two days of training at AOTA headquarters in Bethesda, Md. in August. Following the training, they will be paired with a mentor who holds a leadership position within the Association, who will guide them in service learning activities for a year.
Simons is the outgoing president of the Saint Louis University Student Occupational Therapy Association.
