ST. LOUIS - SLUCare The Physicians of Saint Louis University has launched its new and improved website, www.slucare.edu, which features an updated look that is easier for health care consumers to use.

"Our new site is the next generation in helping our patients and physicians find exactly what they need when they want it," said Sarah Gladson, director of SLUCare marketing, who spearheaded the initiative.
"As the health care environment continues to change, it is essential that we provide consumers with meaningful and useful information that they can find online. Our redesigned website makes it easier for our patients to navigate the swath of information to make informed decisions about their health care."
With strong visuals and updated graphics, the website tells consumers about what is new in the practice -- offering articles about new services, physicians and technologies of interest to informed health consumers. It showcases the breadth and depth of SLUCare's services.
The website includes separate tabs for patients and physicians, offering them the dedicated information they need, as well as a simple way to pay a bill or "find a physician," which is one of the most popular features of the SLUCare website that continues to be enhanced.
Redesigning the SLUCare website was a cross-campus collaboration, involving five Saint Louis University employees, including Gladson, Chris Orlet and Tony Stubblefield, SLUCare marketing employees; and Mark Rimar, who built the site, and Anne Marie Apollo-Noel, who optimized content for web searches, on the University web services team.
"We're excited that the redesigned SLUCare website will provide patients and physicians with an improved online experience. We are particularly happy to launch it during Best Doctors season, when St. Louis Magazine publishes its annual list, which encourages people to think about protecting their health," Gladson said.
"We will continue to improve the site, updating features to streamline the experience for patients and physicians, providing them with the most up-to-date information about the practice."
Nationally accredited and with more than 500 physicians, SLUCare is the medical practice group of Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
