Office of Documentation and Billing Compliance
The University Medical Group of Saint Louis University is committed to providing the finest health care available. The University takes seriously the responsibility to provide proper documentation and practices for health care services. To ensure that federal, state, commercial, and internal rules and regulations are maintained, the Documentation and Billing Compliance Team provide education and objective reviews of documentation for the University faculty, medical residents, medical students, and all of the allied health care professionals that provide, document, and bill for health care services. Patient records and associated billed charges are reviewed by an internal auditing staff within the Office of University Compliance to ensure documentation and billing rules are followed and corrective action is implemented when necessary.
