Q. Can I get work study?
A. Maybe! Work-study funding is awarded to students who file the FAFSA and show financial need. You can indicate your interest in the program when you file the FAFSA by answering the question, "What types of student aid interest you?"
Q. Can I have more than one work-study job?
A. No, you may only participate in one Federal Work-Study (FWS) job. However, you can work a second job on campus as a non-FWS worker, also known as a "student worker" position. You are limited by federal law to a maximum of 15 hours per week in a FWS position. As a student worker, the department where you work will set any limits on your hours. For available positions (both FWS and non-FWS) at SLU, visit careers.slu.edu.
