The Saint Louis University Department of Health Informatics and Information Management hosted The Eastern Missouri Health Information Management. There were 30 attendees from a variety of employers and institutions, including Washington University, East Central Community College, BJC Healthcare and Medical Group, St. Luke’s Hospital, the Missouri Department of Mental Health, SSM, Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Mercy, Esse Health and West Virginia Medical Center.

The Eastern Missouri Health Information Management Association’s mission is to promote the art and science of the health information management profession, to improve the public’s welfare through the promotion of high-quality, comprehensive health information services, and to promote continuing education and interdisciplinary communication between health information professionals, physicians and allied health professionals.
