Welcome to the home of Saint Louis University's partnership with the people of St. Martin's Jesuit parish and school, located in Belize City!
SLU is blessed to work with such an amazing community of people. The children of St. Martin's school are victims of an environment of crime, drugs, and violence in the surrounding neighborhoods, and many are struggling to complete school. St. Martin's is a Jesuit parish serving the very poor of Belize City, and is a part of the Central and Southern Province of the Society of Jesus, of which Saint Louis University is also a member. Given Saint Louis University's mission of Service to Humanity, as well as its current and past partnerships with the people of Belize, we are committed to working with the people of St. Martin's and the surrounding communities in a spirit of solidarity that emanates from a faith that promotes justice.

- Strategic Plan for Belize Partnership Developed
One of the products of the 2014 Belize Summit was the development of a strategic plan involving St. Martin's, St. John's College, Operation Toucan, and Saint Louis University. Through the hard work of four core workgroups, a 3-year plan was devised, and has immediately begun to be implemented.

- Thank You For A Wonderful Belize Summit 2014!
The 2014 Belize Summit, sponsored by Operation Toucan and Saint Louis University, was held on campus August 5th-7th, 2014. Nearly 100 people attended various portions of the conference as we explored potential collaborations with our friends at St. Martin de Porres parish and school, St. John's College, and other organizations in Belize City. Thank you to all who made this possible, especially our friends who traveled all the way from Belize City.
