Homecoming and Family Weekend 2018: A Grand Celebration

This year's Homecoming and Family Weekend will celebrate SLU's 200th anniversary with A Grand Celebration, a special event along Grand Boulevard that will feature live music, food and fun activities for all ages. Per tradition, the evening will cap-off with SLU's signature fireworks display.

To commemorate SLU’s bicentennial anniversary, the community is invited to help paint a mural covering nearly 3,000 square feet. Students worked with renowned muralist Grace McCammond to design the largest public art project in SLU history.

Parking

In order to prepare for A Grand Celebration, Grand Boulevard will be closed from Friday evening through early Sunday morning. Parking is recommended in the Olive Compton Garage. Additionally, the Grand Hall loop will be closed starting at noon on Saturday, Sept. 29.
