Objectives:

  • Review recent research in Alzheimer's Disease
  • Review implications for diagnosis and management

  • Discuss the elements of SLU’s Center for Substance Use Disorder and Pain Management

  • Identify a specific way to support SLU School of Medicine's efforts to promote responsible opioid use and evidence-based prescribing patterns

  • Integrate prevention, treatment and/or recovery services into their practices or into their referral patterns

  • Recognize the difference between M1 & M2 macrophage directed wound healing

  • Interpret wound healing results in the context of site-specific constructive remodeling

  • Recognize the healing potential of the newer extracellular matrix (ECM) wound healing devices

  • Recognize how the needs of wounds managed with the ECM wound devices differ from standard would care therapies and treatment.
