Research Interests

Jennifer Monahan's research is broadly divided into two categories.  Students interested in Surface Science investigate adhesion, work to develop quantitative measurement techniques for moderate length scales (ranges relevant for microfluidic or biological adhesion).  Students interested in Chemical Education develop an array of projects for the undergraduate teaching labs.  Those interested in becoming a science teacher can work on pedagogical development for an array of different chemistry sub-disciplines related to Monahan's courses.
