Around campus, you can probably find me studying outside of the Center for Global Citizenship with Starbucks in hand. I am passionate about social justice and working towards more equitable communities. I love walks around Forest Park, going to see musicals at The Fox Theatre, and the beautiful sunsets here in St. Louis.
Pursuing Public Health
I began college on the pre-med track, but I soon realized I wanted to do good on a more systemic level. My amazing professors were critical in helping me grow my freshman year and realize what I am truly passionate about.
Life in St. Louis
I love going to Forest Park, catching a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium, going to see musicals at The Fox Theatre, and enjoying the great food the city has to offer.
How I Stay Connected to Other Billikens
I love taking advantage of all of the outdoor gathering spaces on SLU’s beautiful campus! Some of my favorite socially distant activities are hammocking by the clock tower or picnicking by the koi Pond with other Billikens.
Favorite Thing About Campus
While SLU’s campus is beautiful, my favorite part is how socially vibrant it is. You are guaranteed to be greeted with smiles and run into friends while walking down West Pine!
Advice for Your College Search During COVID-19
If you are able to go on tours, pay attention to how students are interacting with each other. Even though things are different because of the pandemic, community is more important now than ever, and you should feel that on a college campus.
