Dr. Katie R. Place holds research interests in public relations ethics, power and gender and specializes in qualitative research methods.
Dr. Place serves as the advisor for the SLU Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and holds leadership positions in the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) Commission on the Status of Women and the St. Louis Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
