Secondary Education in English

Student Teaching Capstone Requirements and English Senior Seminar (4940)

Students seeking a BA degree in secondary education with a certification area in English (second major) do not take ENGL 4940 since they will be student teaching. These students should register for EDI 4840 Student Teaching as their senior capstone course.

Students seeking a BA degree in education without certification with a second major in English, should expect to take the English Senior Seminar (ENGL 4940), as specified in the English Major Checklist.
