Internship Role: Social Media Analyst
Task: Analyze GlobalShala's social media presence, devise newer methods to improve audience interaction.
Learning Outcomes: Learn the best practices and proven strategies for digital marketing and communications
Internship Role: Innovation Consultant
Task: Identify a new product/ business to launch & the steps needed to make it a reality for a start-up.
Learning Outcomes: Learn how to ask the right questions, experiment with ideas; apply analytical thinking, and work effectively in teams
Internship Role: Data Analyst
Task: Analyze data from GlobalShala's Marketing team on Ad campaigns, in order to generate actionable reports for future campaigns.
Learning Outcomes: Learn how to effectively analyze data using data visualizations and to improve the look of presentations and data visualizations based on best practices in design.
Internship Role: Project Manager
Task: Create a project plan that will be used by the GlobalShala to plan, organize and execute a global competition.
Learning Outcomes: Learn how to create and manage a project team; develop a team charter, project schedule and project scope while also dealing with crisis situations in projects.
Internship Role: Adolescent Health Advisor
Task: Consult SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital to develop programs that address health-related needs of high school students and their school community.
Learning Outcomes: Learn how to conduct needs assessment that informs planning for healthcare services and communicate project goals to stakeholders.
About the Virtual Internship
Commit a total of 25-30 hours over four weeks.
Acquire valuable experience as you work on actual business problems.
Strengthen your communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Join a cohort of four or five students from around the globe to provide research-based recommendations for your sponsoring company’s project.
