- Medical Benefit Plan Coverage
If you are currently receiving the wellness premium discount, you will be grandfathered and not required to do either the biometric screening or the Health Risk Assessment (HRA)s to receive the 2021 medical plan premium discount. The monthly biometric screening discount will remain at $50 for employee’s coverage and $75 for employees whose coverage includes their spouse. If you waived medical coverage in 2020 or if you are on the medical plan but not receiving the wellness premium discount and want to opt in, you will need to complete the biometric screening. Newly added spouses to 2021 medical coverage will also need to complete a screening to receive the full discount. Vitality points will not be awarded unless you re-take your biometric screening and/or re-complete your HRA.
