Community Work and Service
Heather began her career at the University of Illinois-Chicago and later worked for Purdue University, Reed College, Saint Louis University and Washington University. She served as the director of the disability resource program at each institution. Heather has served as the Accessibility and Wellness Programs Coordinator at SLU Law since November 2019. In addition to her work at SLU Law, Heather is the immediate Past-President of the Missouri affiliate of the Association on Higher Education and Disability (MO-AHEAD) and an active member of AHEAD. Heather is active in the Carondelet community and currently serves as Board President of the Carondelet Community Betterment Federation (CCBF). She is actively involved in community gardening in Carondelet.
