What: Volunteers are needed to help run a poverty simulation, which is a workshop where participants experience what it is like, for one hour, to live the lives of low-income families from single parents trying to care for their children to senior citizens trying to maintain their self-sufficiency on Social Security.

Who: Christian Friends of New Americans, assisting immigrants and refugees who have recently arrived in St. Louis.
What: Volunteers are needed for monthly free health screenings for immigrants and refugees. Assist with registration, assisting the practitioners with health screenings, wellness lessons, etc. No medical background required.
When: Saturday, June 2 from 9 a.m. - Noon
