Graduate Assistant
Bella received her B.S. in biology and B.A. in psychology at the University of Mississippi, where she also competed on the women’s soccer team. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology at Saint Louis University.
Bella draws from a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. Her research interests include examining the psychological impact of injury in athletes and understanding the implications of interruptions in sport on well-being. Bella also provides individual and team sport psychological services to student-athletes through SLU’s Sport Psychological Sciences and Consultation Lab.
