Admissions Procedure: Transfer Students

If you have attempted at least 24 U.S. college credits or have completed one academic year (two semesters) as a full-time student prior to your solicited entry term at SLU-Madrid, you should apply as a transfer student. Transfer students typically declare to major in an undergraduate degree program that can be completed at the Madrid Campus. Nevertheless, transfer students can also select a major that must be completed at the St. Louis Campus in Missouri, USA.

Transfer students who have completed more than two years of university-level coursework should be aware that they must complete their final 30 credit hours at the Madrid Campus and that some majors may have additional requirements for graduation. Please see: Information about transferring credits

SLU-Madrid may award transfer credits for courses taken at the university level in other accredited institutions. Once you have been admitted, you will need to provide the Madrid Campus with detailed syllabi and course descriptions so that we can accurately evaluate your courses for transfer credit.
