Mission in Motion

Created in collaboration with the Office of Mission and Identity, the Department of Marketing and Communications, and the Department of Campus Ministry, this new video series will feature weekly reflections from members of the SLU community about their experiences living SLU's Jesuit mission in their daily lives.

The series will aim to present a wide range of perspectives and experiences. It will strive to identify the myriad ways in which SLU's Jesuit mission -- the pursuit of truth for the greater glory of God and for the service of humanity -- is manifested. It will also offer the opportunity this year for contributors to additionally discuss their encounters with mercy, corresponding with Pope Francis's Jubilee Year of Mercy and Newslink's daily feature 'Mission and Mercy.'

"At the end of the Spiritual Exercises, Ignatius says that 'Love is expressed more in deeds than in words,'" said Christopher Collins, S.J., assistant to the president for mission and identity. "It is in this light that we are excited about highlighting various members of the SLU community and how they are living out our mission."
