Additionally, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (also at Missouri S&T) focusing on change management for production use of additive manufacturing. He is a member of the Class of 2020 Leadership Next (LX) program.
Andrew and his wife, Julia, are passionate about development and are involved with student organizations at Saint Louis University, Missouri S&T and Washington University in St. Louis. Andrew actively supports and participates in the Parks Alumni Network. Andrew believes strongly in the purpose of the Alumni Network, which is to promote career development for Parks students by leveraging a network of mentors. He said, “by connecting with alumni, through a social network, students are provided opportunities to build relationships, gain visibility into industry, expand technical skills, strategize career paths, and support their individual goals. As one piece of Parks’ larger student development strategy, the Alumni Network hopes to connect, grow, and inspire the next generation of leaders in our fields. I support the Alumni Network because I believe that mission is beneficial to our students and our communities.”
Andrew and Julia have a beautiful daughter, Catherine, and enjoy spending time at the St. Louis Zoo and cycling.
