The Student Involvement Center works with all incoming traditional freshmen commuter students, who have been exempt from the residency requirement, to help ensure a smooth transition to Saint Louis University. We provide a variety of programs and services to foster a sense of community both within the group of freshmen commuters and to the broader Saint Louis University campus community.

- Commuter Assistants (CAs)
The Commuter Assistants provide assistance and direction for student learning and academic success while assisting in providing and coordinating programs to facilitate community for traditional freshmen commuter students that have been exempted from the residency requirement

- Commuter Student Association (CSA)
The Commuter Student Association is a student organization that provides programming and resources. Their purpose is to connect commuter students into the SLU student body, enhance the commuter experience, and find solutions to commuter problems. - Commuter Lounge (2nd Floor BSC)
This space in Busch Student Center is devoted to SLU commuter students. Feel free to use the lounge to study, take a break between classes,Connect with other commuter studentsCommuter Assistants or to eat. The lounge includes a large flat screen tv, a dvd player, comfortable furniture, as well as tables and chairs. Commuter Lounge Location: 2nd Floor of the Busch Student Center:
- Commuter Lockers Located in the Student Organization Suite hallway down the hall from the CSA Office there are lockers for commuter students to reserve for use for each semester. Commuter students can request a locker assignment from the Busch Student Center Information Desk and sign a locker agreement for each semester. The lockers are given on a first come, first serve basis and the student must provide their own lock.
