TEAM Update: Executive Leads Announced
I am excited to share the news that Ali Kosydor has been promoted to serve as SLUCare’s
Chief of Clinical Transformation. Ali has deep experience in bringing to life improvement
initiatives that drive quality and growth in healthcare practices – skills that are
critical in helping SLUCare and our medical school realize our potential.
Ali joined SLUCare last year as director of operations strategy, providing strategic
leadership in project improvement and program development initiatives. Before joining
SLUCare, Ali had been a consultant, working with many of the nation’s premier academic
centers and regional health systems in implementing large-scale performance improvement
plans that positioned them for a changing healthcare market.
In her new role, Ali will join Gary Whitworth, associate dean of finance for the School
of Medicine, as business executive leads for the TEAM project. They will report to
Dr. Behrns and me and provide regular updates to the Medical Advisory Council and
the whole community.
Together, Ali and Gary will oversee the process that keeps us moving forward. They
will coordinate our efforts, assisted by many other faculty and staff who will be
responsible for specific aspects of our initiatives. TEAM will require hard work and
collaboration across our organization, so as Ali, Gary and others on their teams reach
out to you, please give them your full cooperation.
Ali and Gary will be at our Town Hall meetings at 7 a.m., our newly added noon session,
and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4 in the LRC. I hope to see many of you there.
