Cook Business Scholars Program
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
Composite ACT score of at least 30 or a combined SAT score of at least 1330 (math and critical reading) and a cumulative high school GPA of 3.75, (weighted or unweighted), as reported on the student’s high school transcript at the end of junior year.
The Cook Business Scholars Program provides an opportunity for students with an outstanding academic record to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in only three calendar years, utilizing the same curriculum as the traditional four-year degree program.
This program is available for all business concentrations: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Information Technology Management, International Business, Management, Marketing and Sports Business. Cook Business Scholars are guaranteed enrollment in business classes and benefit from specialized advising and mentoring.
APPLYING TO THE PROGRAM:
Qualifying students indicating a business major as their program of study on the application for freshman admission will receive an invitation and additional information about the Cook Business Scholars Program in the spring.
REMAINING IN THE PROGRAM:
Cook Business Scholars must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 and complete coursework as directed.
