A leader specializing in the fields of outcomes assessment, analysis and policy.
The Saint Louis University Center for Outcomes Research leads projects in a broad range of clinical areas, including organ transplantation, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, health care quality and pharmacoepidemiology (the study of the use and effect of prescription drugs). Our research is funded through the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nonprofit agencies and corporate sponsors.
As a degree-granting center, SLUCOR works closely with Saint Louis University's School of Medicine and College for Public Health and Social Justice. Together, we've formed a vibrant community of faculty, staff and students committed to strengthening the delivery and outcomes of medical care through innovative research and education.
In the fall of 2011, SLUCOR launched an innovative master's degree in outcomes research and evaluation sciences that can be completed entirely online. Accessible to students across the country, the fully web-based format accommodates the schedules of working professionals while poising graduates for new leadership and research opportunities across many sectors of health care.
The SLUCOR Mission:
The mission of the Saint Louis University Center for Outcomes Research (SLUCOR) is to be a national resource that informs health care and policy decisions with scientific information about quality and effectiveness.
