Saint Louis University offers nearly 100 post-baccalaureate programs, with more than 25 of those programs earning national recognition in U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Graduate Schools” edition.
Our programs of study lead to a range of academic degrees, including: Master of Arts,
Master of Science, Doctor of Education and Doctor of Philosophy. In addition, numerous
departments offer certificate programs or advanced, dual-degree programs.
Students interested in pursuing a graduate degree at SLU should visit the program’s page to learn about specific admission criteria. Admission requirements for law and medicine programs are specific to each school.
Graduate Admission Requirements
Each program will have its own admission requirements, but most will require applicants to:
- Complete the online application. The online application collects education history, writing samples and letters of recommendation. The non-refundable application fee for most programs is $65. The application fee may vary if your program requires application through another system. Contact your program of interest if you are unsure of the specific application requirements.
- Submit official copies of all college transcripts. Photocopies and faxes will not
be accepted.
- Meet any specific requirements of your department. Each department has different requirement standards. Prospective students should contact each school for specific information regarding test score requirements.
In addition, international students are required to:
- Meet English language requirements by earning minimum TOEFL or IELTS scores.
