The Emerson Leadership Institute at Saint Louis University aims to develop and deliver education, research and community engagement programs that shape and enable ethical leaders.
The Emerson Leadership Institute is the next evolution of a 25-year partnership between Emerson and the John Cook School of Business. It establishes a leadership “hub” that supports impactful academic programs, leading-edge research initiatives, and market-driven community engagement activities where ethics and responsible leadership are required as core tenets.
The Emerson Leadership Institute offers education and training programs on various topics related to leadership and ethics. Programs are developed and delivered by faculty and staff from the John Cook School of Business and other schools and centers across the University. We also partner with leadership experts throughout the country to enhance our training curriculum.

Classes are available on-site in SLU’s 14,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art training center as well as virtually through instructor-led WebEx sessions. A team of eight instructors comprised of University faculty and industry professionals can customize and deliver private training sessions that incorporate a variety of topics aimed at leading the self, leading others, and leading organizations:
