Supply Chain Management (Minor)

Students in the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business can pursue a minor in supply chain management in addition to their selected major.

Saint Louis University's minor in supply chain management provides students with a foundation in this $1.3 trillion dollar business.

Supply chain management make the fundamental decisions associated with business success. These decisions include the “go/no-go” decision regarding which goods or services to provide, which suppliers to work with, and how to access and excite prospective customers.

Highlighted Courses

The minor requires 12 credits of upper-level operations and IT management courses.

Students will take the following required courses:

  • OPM 6440: Global Supply Chain Management (Open only to seniors with a SLU cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • OPM 6460: Global Logistics Management

Students will then select two of the following courses:

  • ITM 3300: Database Management
  • ITM 3700: Business Analytics
  • ITM 3800: Project Management

You may select another course, subject to the approval of the chair of the operations and information technology management department, to substitute for one of the above elective courses.
