With over 14 years of experience in higher education, Kim Reitter has her undergraduate degree in Psychology, her graduate degree in Counseling, and her doctorate in Higher Education Administration.

She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor specializing in career counseling and as director, oversees the goals, assessment, and outreach of the department.

Karl AldrichKarl Aldrich - Assistant Director of Employer Relations

Karl has a B.A. in Speech Communication and a M.S. in Education, both from Eastern Illinois University. Karl has over ten years of experience in Higher Education and two years of experience as a Recruiter. Karl enjoys building relationships with organizations that satisfy the employment needs for both the employer and the student.

Becky CarlsonBecky Carlson - Career Development Specialist

Becky received her M.S. degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University (Oxford, OH) and her B. A. degree with a Psychology major from Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, MN). Originally from Wisconsin, she has also worked in non-profit organizations, primarily in program planning and development.

Becky works with students and alumni in the School of Nursing, Parks College of Engineering, Aviation, and Technology, and graduate students in Public Health (MHA, MPH, PhD) as well as deciding students..

Susan GaleSusan Gale - Career Development Specialist

Susan Gale is a Licensed Professional Counselor with sixteen years of career counseling experience at SLU. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Counseling.

She serves as the liaison to the College for Public Health and Social Justice (Social Work and Criminal Justice), Education, Sociology & Anthropology, the Psychology Department and the School for Professional Studies as well as working with students and alumni deciding upon majors or careers. Susan's previous experience was in nonprofit social service.

Chandra JohnsonChandra Johnson - Career Development Specialist

Chandra received a M.S. in Counseling and Student Personnel in May 2009 and has a B.A. in Literature, Science, and the Arts from the University of Iowa. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in April 2014.

Chandra serves all students in the Doisy College of Health Sciences as well as undergraduate students in Public Health, Emergency Management, Health Management, and Biostatistics. She also works with deciding students.

Prior to joining the Career Services staff in July 2015, Floyd worked in academic advising for 10 years. He earned his B.A. in Radio-Television, with a minor in Marketing and a Masters of Science in Education in Higher Education: College Student Personnel from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Floyd works with students in the College of Arts and Sciences--primarily those in liberal studies majors, and serves as liaison to the Office of International Services, and the Pre-Law Program.

 Jordan Waddy - Career Development Specialist

Jordan is a National Certified Counselor. She received her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in December 2014. She received her Journalism with a minor in Marketing from Georgia State University in 2011. Originally from Atlanta, Jordan previously worked at a state college where she provided career and counseling services to students from diverse backgrounds. Jordan works with students and alumni in the John Cook School of Business as well as deciding students.

Sonja will be receiving her M.S. in Professional Counseling in December
2015 from Concordia University Wisconsin. She received her B.A. in
Business Communications and Missions from Concordia University
Wisconsin in 2013. Sonja began as a Career Development Specialist
Intern in January 2015 and is excited to continue being a part of the
Career Services team.Sonja works with students and alumni in the School of Arts and Sciences, especially those in hard science majors, as well as undecided students.

Barb KoskolosBarb Koskolos - Employer Outreach Specialist

Barb received her B.A in Business Administration from Lindenwood University. She brings more than 7 years experience leading career transition workshops, career coaching, and managing employer relationships. Barb enjoys building partnerships with companies to enhance their experience with SLU Career Services by addressing their individual employment needs.

Katie Nickrent - Career Services Coordinator

Katie received her M.Ed. in Counseling from Stephens College and her B.A. in Communication Disorders from Truman State University. Katie manages Handshake, the Career Services database, and assists with other Employer Relations initiatives.
