Application Deadlines to Study Abroad

Most students study abroad their sophomore or junior year. Talk to your academic adviser early in your time at SLU to determine which semester will be best for you and which courses might be involved.

If you’re a transfer student, you must spend at least one semester at our St. Louis, Missouri, campus before applying to go abroad.

Your application is due one semester before you wish to study abroad (see below for dates). If you are not able to complete your application by the recommended deadline, please contact the study abroad team for additional information.

  • Spring Semester programs: Oct. 1
  • Fall Semester programs: March 1
  • Summer Sessions: March 1
