Mission Statement and Objectives:The County Older Resident Programs (CORP) is committed to making a difference through a wide range of services provided by caring volunteers in your community that allow older adults to live on their own.
Service Opportunities:Tax Assistance Program
Volunteers will prepare and file 2016 Federal and State tax returns electronically at sites in the St. Louis County.
Volunteers are needed as greeters and appointment schedulers.
Volunteers will be VITA-certified and will begin volunteering at CORP tax assistance sites. A convenient site will be assigned to you.
No weekends and mileage reimbursement is available!
Interested individuals should contact Sheryl Trask at (314) 615-7430 to be assigned to a location north of I-64 or Kathy Paulsen at (314) 615-4021 for south of I-64 locations.
Volunteer Driver
Provide 3+ hours to transport a county senior resident to and from doctor’s appointments and to other essential destinations.
The Neighborhood Coordinator makes all of the arrangements with the volunteer and the senior resident each time.
No weekends and mileage reimbursement is available!
Call (314) 615-4516 to be assigned to a Neighborhood Coordinator.
Home Visitor
Provide social interaction in the senior’s home.
May involve assistance with light chores and activities (e.g., meal preparation, sorting mail, play a board game, etc.).
The Neighborhood Coordinator will make the initial match of the volunteer and the senior who reside in St. Louis County.
The social schedule is determined by the volunteer and senior resident.

- Volunteer Driver: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m..
- Home Visitor: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5 p.m..
