September

December 1: Adjunct Appointment Offers for Spring provided to Adjunct Faculty.
December 1: Dept. Merit Evaluation Rubric deadline. Submit to Dean’s Office, Associate Dean Kathleen Llewellyn (kathleen.llewellyn@slu.edu)
December 15: Nominations for Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards deadline. Submit to Dean’s Office.
December 15: Full application for Provost Faculty Research Leave Proposal deadline. Submit to department chairs.
December 18: Dissertation Fellowship application deadline.
December 31: Faculty Annual Activity Reports deadline. Submit to department chairs. Some departments may require earlier internal submission of these Reports, so follow department regular practice.

January
January 12: Staff self-evaluation completed in Workday. (HR tentative date)
January 15: Human Resources advances all Staff reviews to the manager rating phase. (HR tentative date)
January 19: Diversity Graduate Fellowship applications candidate deadline.
January 19: Presidential Graduate Fellowship applications candidate deadline.
January 20: Provost Faculty Research Leave Proposals deadline. Department chairs submit to Dean’s Office. Provost Faculty Research Leave Program.
January 29: Deadline for Nominations for the Undergraduate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion Award (CASDEI@slu.edu)

February 1: New Courses/Programs and Course/Program Changes must have been approved thru all applicable curriculum committees for inclusion in upcoming Academic Catalog.
February 1: Course Fee additions/changes for next academic year deadline. Course Change Form
February 9: Nominations for University Fellowships due by 5 p.m. to Graduate Education (graduateeducation@slu.edu). Each graduate program can forward one nomination for the Diversity Fellowship and one nomination for the Presidential Fellowship.
February 15: Signed, hard copies of Chair's Review of Faculty Annual Activity Reports (including their year reviews) AND hard copy and electronic copy of individual Faculty Annual Activity Reports, including Blue course evaluations, deadline.
