Lecture Capture Demonstrations
Information Technology Services is in the process of reviewing the technology that records and distributes lectures and meetings. Three new vendors and Tegrity, which currently provides lecture capture services for SLU, were on campus in September to demonstrate their systems. The demonstration recordings are available through the links below. The University community is encouraged to watch the demonstrations and provide feedback on the different systems. Student, faculty, and staff feedback is essential in order for the University to select the best technology for the community.
A recording of each vendor's on-site demonstration is located below. After viewing each video, we ask that you complete that specific company's survey:
The surveys will close at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19. Please only complete surveys for the demonstrations you watch.
ITS would like to thank everyone who attended the demonstrations and thanks the community for it's assistance in selecting the next lecture capture system for the University.
Contact Brian Durkee, ITS Project Manager, at email@example.com with any questions.

Each vendor is scheduled to present on a different day on north and south campus on Sept. 21, 22, 28, and 29. To provide the most comprehensive feedback, it will be helpful to see multiple vendors. The schedule is available below:
|21-Sep||10:30 AM||School of Nursing Valentine Auditorium||Kaltura|
|21-Sep||2:30 PM||Center for Global Citizenship Auditorium||Kaltura|
|22-Sep||9:30 AM||School of Nursing Valentine Auditorium||Panopto|

No advance sign-up is necessary. Please simply plan on attending as many demonstrations as possible. The vendors were given 90 minutes to present and answer questions. If you're not able to stay for the entire presentation, that's okay. ITS thanks the community for its assistance in selecting the best technology for the University.
