PRN Counselor
Jay Winig received his Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida and has been a practicing clinical social worker for more than 28 years. He is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a certified substance abuse counselor (CRADC).
In addition to his many years of experience, Jay has completed the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program (APP). Jay also completed advanced training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and other clinical approaches throughout his years of practice. Jay has studied and worked around the country, including South Florida, New York City and St. Louis. He enjoys facilitating support, process and educational groups and has worked with young fathers, HIV-positive men, college mental health, grief, substance abuse and various other mental and emotional issues. Jay has presented locally and nationally on young fathers, substance abuse and college mental health.
