Tyrone D. Ford is a licensed clinical social worker in both Missouri and Illinois, practicing for more than 14 years. With a dual bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University, he considers himself a servant-leader, believes everyone should be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their circumstances, and everyone deserves an opportunity to thrive.
Tyrone D. Ford has advanced training and specializes in clinical practice with families, adults and youth. He has worked on research projects including effective intervention strategies for youth victims of violence. He has experience working with persons who suffer from substance use challenges, homelessness, post-traumatic stress and anxiety. He is well versed in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), including trauma-focused CBT, depression management, motivational interviewing and child adolescent behavior disorders.
