Below are upcoming one-time volunteer opportunities for the Spring semester.  If you are interested in volunteering, simply contact the person listed at the end of each entry to make sure they still need volunteers.  This list is updated weekly, so check back often for updates!

Who - Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments.
What - Volunteers are needed to provide child care so parents can attend meetings to increase their knowledge, and get support.
When - Wednesday, February 17th from 6:30pm - 8pm.

Who - Great Rivers Greenway.
What - Volunteers are needed to beautify the greenway by picking up trash along the trail!.
When - Friday, February 19th from 10am-Noon.
Where - Riverfront Trail of the Mississippi -  Take Broadway to Mullanphy and head east toward the river. Take Mullanphy Street through the flood wall and turn left. We will meet at the pump house on the river ahead and to the right.

Who - St. Louis ARC, a non-profit organization working with children and young adults with developmental disabilities.
What - Volunteers are needed for our monthly Club South Dance Clubs, a chaperoned dance for adults with disabilities. Help with set-up, check-in, serving refreshments, and more!
When - Friday, February 19th 7:30pm-10pm.

Who - Gateway Greening.
What - Volunteers are needed for our Annual St. Louis Community Garden Summit, a conference to kick-off the growing season and start a new round of urban community gardens around St. Louis.  Roles include registration, overall support, helping with breakfast and lunch, etc.
When - Saturday, February 20th from either 8am-11am or 11am-2:30pm.

Who - Connections To Success.
What - Childcare volunteers are needed for our Men's and Women's Professional Groups, engaging children in games, activities, etc. while their parents learn valuable educational and employment skills during class.

Who - Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.
What - Volunteers are needed for our Daisy Diner night, helping our girls K-1st grade learn table etiquette, paying with money, serving food, etc.

Who - Pathways To Independence, assisting adults with developmental disabilities.
What - Volunteers are needed for our Trivia Night Fundraiser, helping with set-up, cashiering, auctions, and clean-up.
When - Saturday, February 27th, either 3-6pm (Setup) or 6-10:30pm (Trivia Night).

Who - The Little Bit Foundation
What - 6th Annual Music Trivia Night. Volunteers are needed to help sell 50/50 raffle tickets and games, monitor the silent auction items, registration, and help with set up/clean up. All volunteers will receive a meal but are welcome to bring snacks to munch on throughout the night. All proceeds from this event will support the programs and services provided to over 6,000 students within the 20 Little Bit sponsored schools. Who - The Nine Network, public access channel for St. Louis.
What - Volunteers are needed to help with a fun kids event, celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss.  Help with activities, games, learning stations, and more, all at the Magic House!
When - Saturday, February 27th or Sunday, February 28th both from Noon-5pm.

Who - Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.
What - Volunteers are needed for our Girls Night In, an overnight experience for our scouts in 2nd-5th grade.  Help with games, crafts, supervision, etc.  Volunteers can work either just Friday night, or the entire overnight experience.
When - Friday, March 4th - Saturday, March 5th; 5pm-8:30am or just 5pm-10pm for Friday night option.

Who - Christian Friends of New Americans.
What - Volunteers are needed for our monthly Health and Wellness Clinic for immigrants and refugees. Assist physicians with basic medical exams, registration, nutrition/health lessons and vision/hearing screenings.

Who - St. Patrick Center.
What - Volunteers are needed for our annual Pot O' Gold campaign, raising funds to support the homeless in St. Louis.  Groups of volunteers stand at entrances to local Schnucks stores, collecting donations from shoppers.
When - Friday, March 11th and Saturday, March 12th, anytime 9am-6pm.
Where - Various Schnucks locations around the city.

Who - Gateway Greening.
What - Join Gateway Greening's Urban Farm as we prepare for the upcoming growing season. Activities may include: planting spring crops, shoveling soil, turning compost, organizing tool sheds and more. These activities will support Gateway Greening in providing therapeutic job training for people struggling with homelessness, facilitating educational opportunities for St. Louis youth and growing produce for area food banks.
