One-Time Volunteer Opportunities


Below are upcoming one-time volunteer opportunities for the Spring semester.  If you are interested in volunteering, simply contact the person listed at the end of each entry to make sure they still need volunteers.  This list is updated weekly, so check back often for updates!


JANUARY



Who - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
What - Volunteers are needed to assist with our TypeOne Nation Summit for parents with children who have Type 1 Diabetes.  Help with the children's activity area, playing with the kids, engaging them in arts and crafts, games, etc.
When - Saturday, January 28th anytime 7am-4:30.

Who - The Fit and Food Connection, an organization providing healthy living resources to families in need in North St. Louis.
What - Volunteers are needed for the development of our Organic Garden program.

Who - PROMO, Missouri's statewide organization advocating for equality for LGBTQ people.
What - Volunteers are needed for our annual Trivia Night fundraiser, assisting with setup, silent auction, and more!

What - Volunteers are needed for our annual JCC Book Fair, helping to set up books, assist customers in locating books, cashiering, and other duties!

Who - Perennial, a non-profit organization focused on the creative reuse of building materials, clothing, and other accessories.
What - Volunteers are needed for our Community Clothing Swap, to help raise funds for our organization.  Help accept clothing donations, sort/hang clothes for sale, and more!

Who - Christian Friends of New Americans.
What - Volunteers are needed for our monthly free health clinic for immigrants and refugees. Assist with intake, basic screenings, handing out information, nutrition lessons, etc. Pre-med, nursing, or health sciences students preferred, but not necessary!

What - Volunteers are needed for our St. Louis Canvassing Day, going around to households in the surrounding neighborhoods informing residents of enrollment for the upcoming school year.
