SEPTEMBER

Who - Lutheran Senior Services.
What - Volunteers are needed for our Fall Festival for older adults, helping with set up, working games and activities, visiting with the seniors, etc.
When - Friday, September 30th 10:30am-2:30pm.

Who - Missouri Botanical Garden.
What - We are seeking energetic volunteers with a passion for going green to help us at the upcoming Missouri Market in the Gardens! Volunteers working the Recycle, Landfill, and Compost tents, and will help Market visitors properly dispose of waste - helping the Garden make sure that we are making this popular event a near Zero-Waste festival.
When - Friday Sept. 30th - Sunday Oct. 2nd; 3 hour shifts any day either 11am-2pm, 2pm-5pm, or 5pm-8pm.

OCTOBER



Who - Christian Friends of New Americans.
What - Volunteers are needed for our monthly free health clinic for immigrants and refugees. Assist with intake, basic screenings, handing out information, nutrition lessons, etc. Pre-med, nursing, or health sciences students preferred, but not necessary!
When - Saturday, Oct. 1st 9:30am-12:30pm

Who - Emmaus Homes.
What - Volunteers are needed for our Duckfest event, a special program with an outdoor/Fall theme to raise funds for people living with developmental disabilities.  Help with selling merchandise or raffle tickets, monitoring the VIP area, set-up, take-down, and more!
When - Saturday, Oct. 1st anytime 9am-10pm.

Who - Our Lady's Inn, and tranistional housing organization for pregnant women and women with children.
What - Volunteers are needed to play with the children while resident engage in cleaning and maintenance around the building.

Who - The Nine Network of St. Louis (PBS and Public Radio).
What - Volunteers are needed for the Grand Opening of Miss M's Candy Boutique in Grand Center.  Work as a character handler (assisting performers in costume), or as a character performer dressed in costume!

Who - St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program (HELP).
What - Help us staff one of 12 donation locations around St. Louis where people can drop off used health equipment that we can refurbish and donate!
When - Saturday, October 8th anytime 9am-2pm.

Who - Alzheimer's Association.
What - Volunteers are needed to assist with the Arnold, MO Walk to End Alzheimer's. A variety of opportunities are available from set up, t-shirt distribution, greeter, route and water patrol, usher, thank you brigade and clean-up.

What - Volunteers are needed for our Farmers' Formal 2016 gala and fundraiser!  Assist with our live and silent auctions, serving food, registration, and more!

Who - TREE House of Greater St. Louis, an animal therapy organization for people with disabilities.
What - Volunteers are needed for our annual fundraiser Horse-a-thon, assisting with all aspects of the event including children's activities, arts and crafts, greeters, registration, and more!

Who - Erin Eickmeier Foundation, assisting children with disabilities.
What - Volunteers are needed to be paired up 1:1 with our campers with disabilities, ages 5-18, for a Fun Day down at our Ranch. Activities include swimming (weather permitting), fishing, hiking, playground play, and fun in our 4000 sq ft camp house, including an Art Room, Nature Room, Messy Play Room, Sensory Room, Wildlife Observation Room, Transportation Room, and more. Supervision and assistance with campers is provided by our staff.

What - Volunteers are needed for Kimmswick Witches Night Out, helping single single mothers enjoy a night out.

Who - International Institute.
What - Volunteers are needed for our Immunization Days, providing health services to children of immigrants and refugees.

Who - Arthritis Foundation.
What - Volunteers are needed for our annual Health Fair, helping to man booths, registration, greeting, etc. to provide information to the public on arthritis.

Who - GlobalHack, a national non-profit that teaches youth about computer programming, software development, code-writing, etc.
What - Volunteers are needed for our National GlobalHack Event for youth, to be held at Chaifetz Arena, assisting with all aspects of this massive event, including registration, judging, information booths, and more!

What - Volunteers are needed to distibute and plant trees throughout the city of St. Louis as part of the annual Plant4Peace event.
