Visits and Events

There are some SLU experiences that photographs just can’t capture. Walk down West Pine Mall and see all the places to study and meet up with friends. Be wowed by the amazing architecture and stained glass inside College Church. Rub the Billiken’s belly for good luck.

We want you to feel welcome and experience the Saint Louis University we know, so we’ve created a number of ways to visit campus that make the most of your time, including weekday and Saturday visits, special events and open houses.

January Select Saturday with Cultural Connections

Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018

Join us at Saint Louis University and see what SLU is all about! From a campus tour to an interactive student panel, you’ll get an inside glimpse into the diversity of the Billiken experience. Founded in the Jesuit mission, our University is committed to fostering an inclusive environment. SLU welcomes and celebrates all expressions of diversity and social identities, and our Cultural Connections program aims to show prospective Billikens all of the outstanding opportunities SLU has to offer. You will have the opportunity to attend an application review, which will help to ensure that you submit a strong college application, and a financial aid session that will help to answer your questions about becoming a Billiken. Also available will be information on our Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship — a scholarship that is open to all students and is awarded to those individuals that share SLU’s passion for the promotion of social justice. So join us for our Cultural Connections program, and see if SLU is the right fit for you. From our admission presentation and campus tour to our student organization fair, you’ll see how SLU celebrates a unique and inclusive student body.

Where to Stay

In an effort to show our guests a more realistic view of residence halls at SLU, we use rooms that are occupied by current students. We want to ensure and respect our students' privacy and busy schedules; therefore, residence hall tours are limited during move-in or move-out days, or near holidays and school breaks.

Residence hall tours are also limited during the summer due to scheduled maintenance. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask a visit assistant. Dates and times are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. We recommend that you check our schedule six to eight weeks before making travel arrangements.
