Nearly 13,000 students from the United States and 82 countries choose Saint Louis University each year.

Undergraduates who choose to Be a Billiken can explore nearly 80 undergraduate majors — many of which can be combined with additional years of study for master's and other professional degrees. SLU's graduate and professional students choose from nearly 90 graduate disciplines, including those at our highly regarded School of Medicine and School of Law. Or, if you are an adult learner, you can continue your education online through SLU's School for Professional Studies.-

freshman students

Ready to Be a Billiken? Apply as a freshman online or through the Common Application. Don't forget to connect with your admission counselor and plan a visit to campus.

Transfer student

No matter where you started your education, SLU is a great place to continue it. Explore our scholarships and talk to admissions counselors dedicated to assisting transfer students.

international students

Nearly 6% of SLU’s students come from outside the United States. Whether you plan to enter SLU as a freshman or graduate student, talk to our international admission counselors to learn about our highly ranked academic programs, as well as international need-based scholarships and financial aid.

Graduate student

For prospective graduate and professional (e.g., law, medicine) students, SLU offers post-baccalaureate degree programs and a vibrant community of scholars.

Adult/Online student

Take classes online to earn your bachelor’s or master’s degree, or gain additional certification on a flexible, accelerated schedule.

Summer session students

Eligible high school juniors and seniors, as well as students from any college or university, are welcome to enroll in nearly 600 college credit courses during the summer session.

Madrid student

Established in 1967, SLU’s Madrid, Spain, campus educates 900 students from the United States and around the world. It offers 15 undergraduate and two graduate degree programs in their entirety and hosts visiting study abroad students.
