Nearly 13,000 students from the United States and 80 foreign countries choose Saint Louis University each year.

Undergraduates who choose to Be a Billiken can explore more than 90 majors and programs — many of which can be combined with additional years of study for master's and other professional degrees. SLU's graduate and professional students choose from nearly 100 graduate programs, including those at our highly regarded School of Medicine and School of Law. Or, if you are an adult learner, you can continue your education online through SLU's School for Professional Studies

freshman student

Ready to Be a Billiken? Apply as a freshman online or through the Common Application. Don't forget to connect with your admission counselor and plan a visit to campus.

Transfer student

No matter where you started your education, SLU is a great place to continue it. Explore our scholarships and talk to admissions counselors dedicated to assisting transfer students.

international student

Nearly 7 percent of SLU’s students come from outside the United States. Talk to our international admission counselors to learn about our highly ranked academic programs, as well as international need-based scholarships and financial aid.

Graduate student

For prospective graduate or professional (e.g., law, medicine) students, SLU offers nearly 100 post-baccalaureate degree programs and a vibrant community of scholars.

Adult/Online student

Take classes online to earn your bachelor’s or master’s degree, or gain additional certification on a flexible, accelerated schedule.

Summer session student

Eligible high school juniors and seniors, as well as students from any college or university, are welcome to enroll in nearly 600 college credit courses during the summer session.

military student

U.S. News & World Report ranked SLU No. 20 among national universities on its 2015 list of "Best Colleges for Veterans." SLU is also a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges consortium and the Yellow Ribbon program.

Madrid student

Established in 1967, SLU’s Madrid, Spain, campus educates 700 students from the United States and around the world. It offers 14 undergraduate and two graduate degree programs in their entirety and hosts visiting study abroad students.
