While International students contribute a wide range of languages, cultures, and perspectives to the classroom, they also confront many challenges. Finding social and academic success can be difficult in an environment that is not one’s native language or culture. As educators, our role is to provide an equitable learning environment that considers some of the complexities international students face on a regular basis.
Below are a few resources to help you get started. If you would like to discuss pedagogical considerations supporting international students, consider meeting with someone from the Reinert Center for a confidential consultation.
