  • Conventional testing: SAT,  ACT, MoGEA and LSAT

Test Registration

GRE and TOEFL

Register online for the GRE or TOEFL exams at ets.org.  A credit card is required when registering online.

CLEP and MAT

Call the Testing Center at 314-977-2963. Each appointment is scheduled on an individual basis, typically Monday through Friday. It is recommended that you complete registration two weeks in advance to ensure you get the date and time that you want.

Prior to contacting us to schedule a CLEP exam, register and purchase a voucher directly with CollegeBoard. On the day of your exam at SLU, must pay the $20 administration fee by cash (correct change only) or money order made out to Saint Louis University. SLU will be unable to give you your exam unless payment is made.

MoGEA

The Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA) has subtests in English/language arts, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. More information, including registration information, can be found online at mo.nesinc.com. All registrations, including payment for the exam, are handled directly by the testing company.

MoGEA Sitting Fee

If you are a Saint Louis University student, you will not be charged a sitting fee as long as you register using your SLU email account. Sitting fees will apply if you make the reservation with a personal email account.

If you are not a student at SLU but still wish to use the testing center, a $25 sitting fee, paid by money order only, applies. The fee must be paid whether you are taking the entire exam or individual sections.

Payment is due on the day of the exam. We cannot test you if you do not bring your sitting fee. Money orders must be made out to Saint Louis University — no cash, credit cards or personal checks will be accepted.

Testing Protocol

The Testing Center is located in room 205 on the second floor of the Marvin and Harlene Wool Center, 3545 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63103. The Testing Center does not have reserved parking. (See options for visitor parking at SLU.)

During check-in, you will leave all personal belongings in an assigned space. These spaces are not secured; valuables should be left in a car or at home. The Testing Center is not responsible for personal items brought to the exam.

The only personal item allowed to be present on your desk during the exam is an ID. Cell phones cannot be accessed during an exam, even during breaks. Cell phone usage will invalidate the exam.

For more information, contact the Testing Center at 314-977-2963.
