Saint Louis University Physical Therapy Clinic Hosting Open House in New Location

The Saint Louis University Physical Therapy Clinic: An Affiliate of the Student Health Center is inviting the SLU community to an Open House on Thursday, April 27 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the clinic’s new location: 3524 Laclede Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63103. Guests will be able to tour the clinic and meet the physical therapy staff. Appetizers and light refreshments will be served.

The Saint Louis University Physical Therapy Clinic relocated within the Marchetti Tower West building on April 14th, 2017. The clinic has operated in the eastern leg of the Marchetti Tower West building for several years. During that time, the practice experienced a steady increase in patients that led the clinic to outgrow its former space. The opportunity for clinic renovation was possible because of funding and support from the Division of Student Development and support from the Doisy College of Health Sciences.

Physical Therapy Clinical Service Manager Jennifer Stateler, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, is very enthusiastic about the upgrades, which the new space provides.

“Our new location gives us increased square footage to accommodate our growing patient population and enhanced ability to serve the entire SLU community,” Dr. Sateler said. “The new and improved layout allows for utilization of private treatment areas, overall enriched patient/therapist interactions, and space for expanded student learning opportunities.”

The physical therapy clinic is open to the entire SLU community. The clinic specializes in treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries. All of the clinic’s physical therapists hold American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties certifications in the field of orthopedics and/or sports. Patients can expect a one-on-one, individualized approach that will facilitate optimal recovery by combining current research and highest standards of practice.
